Cheryl Aldrich owner and founder of RainTree passed away on June 12th, 2015 after battling brain cancer. Cheryl was a great fighter and she had one heck of a “get-it-done” attitude. She did her homework and stayed on top of the cancer treatments and was always researching them. She always worked so hard to make the best of each day for those around her. She always had a smile for you even during the toughest times. We are so proud of her. We miss her so much.
Here are some comments from her daughters Corri and Pilar from Cheryl's Facebook page.
With the loss of my mom this is a very difficult time for our whole family. We would like to thank everyone for their support and prayers. The sweet comments and fun memories are always great to read through; getting to see how our mom impacted so many lives is such a blessing. Pilar, Roy, and myself would like to thank each and everyone of you and for you to know how very much appreciated you are during this hard time.

Today my mom, Cheryl Aldrich passed away.
For those of you who do not know last March my mom was diagnosed with Glioblastoma. Glioblastoma is a mean and aggressive brain cancer with no cure. She was given 12 months. This time was a gift, and not surprisingly she beat the odds; She fought. We all know how strong my mom is and persistent. She looked for a cure, took every kind of chemo and radiation in stride. We also played, spending more time together than ever. We took trips, connected with old friends and saw each other more than ever.
Last week my mom went to my niece’s graduation. She was not going to miss it. She walked proudly to accept a rose from my niece during the ceremony. One week later she was preparing to pass. I can’t but think that this was classic for my mom. She was probably far sicker than she let on, but she was not going to let the disease stop her.
